Feather Down is a trilogy of books based around tribes of Guardians that can turn into birds at will. These Guardians have control of the Blue Light, which they use as magic. Their job is to protect mankind, but they have become distracted by a centuries-long war between two of the most powerful tribes. The legend says that a human child will be the only one who is able to stop the war and bring a long expected peace to the Guardians.
